At Temple Brewing Company, on Friday July 17 at Midday, we tap the first keg of the EAST COAST BREWERS UNION ‘EXILE IPA’.
It’s been a long time coming, and for those that don’t remember what this is all about, ‘Exile IPA’ is a collaboration beer between 11 breweries that came together to make a positive out of a negative.
‘Exile IPA’ is an east coast IPA, true to style weighing in at 5.7%. The combination of Comet and Melba hops has produced a spicy bitterness leading into fresh aromas of Passionfruit, Grapefruit and Summer Berries.
If you’re completely in the dark about the back story, check out this article on The Crafty Pint that sums it all up: http://craftypint.com/event/8873/Eastern-Coast-IPA-Collaboration-at-Temple-Brewing
For interstate friends, keep an eye out for bars in Sydney & Tassie announcing when they’re tapping their kegs. For our Melbourne friends, see you Friday!
